The boys both blew their small boats until Grant said he felt like his mouth was sore from puckering.

Illahee Monkey

Grant's class went on a field trip to Illahee.  The kids had fun digging up creatures from the sand.

Grant is playing basketball at the Y with his good buddy Sam.

Jeremy helped both the boys with their pinewood derby cars.

Carter's came in at first place and Grant's was 17th.

Grant still wants to know how that happened.

The boys also had fun doing a marble tournament this month.

Eight is Great

Grant chose to get baptized this month.

Bowling & Buddies

8 at last. Grant seems to think it takes longer to get to his birthday (maybe bc his b-day is after Carter's) but really enjoyed it when it came.

School days, School days...

Back to school!  Madison is in 8th, Carter is in 4th, & Grant is in 2nd.

Tractor Ridin'

After I take a bunch of pictures on a trip I like to go back and review them and weed out the duplicates. I almost deleted one of these photos while doing this because it looked so similar to the other, until I realized the tractor driver had changed. Uncle J gave each of the kids a turn with him mowing the lawn and of course the boys loved it. Anything with wheels and an engine seems to always be a guy-pleaser.

AR Champs

Carter and Grant both got gold medals for the 10-11 school year Accelereated Reader (AR) challenge- Hooray for my readers!!! Grant also got the highest number of reading points for all the 1st-3rd graders at his school (those Harry Potter books are worth alot of points).

Dodger #15

Grant got his first "double" this season and Coach Matt told us he thought Grant was the player with the most improvement this season. Grant had a great time playing, except for the really rainy games, which even he couldn't say he enjoyed. Hip Hip Hooray for a season well-played!!!
