Temple Trip
We got to go to the Seattle Temple with a big group of friends this weekend. Thanks to Bishop V (who jogged to get another person to take the picture) I'm actually in the group shot!
Missionary Moment
We had a Primary Stake Activity for boys 8-11 years old on Saturday. They got to hear about mission experiences from six different missionaries. The places the missionaries served were numerous: Florida, Honduras (a missionary couple served here), Mexico, Canada, and South Africa. It was awesome to hear each person's take on their mission experience. I had fun taking pictures and listening to the boys chit chat. The boys made some missionary journals (Diana's awesome design) at the end of the activity and then had some lunch (Yummy- thanks Barb). I think the boys enjoyed coming, but wish more of them had been able to attend. Sports created a scheduling conflict. Carter wasn't there because he was playing a baseball game. I told Carter I'd give him the inside scoop.

12 to 12
We watched an action-packed baseball game this Saturday where both teams excelled (12 to 12) and the boys all had a fun time. Both the boys hit the ball each time they were up to bat. In fact their coach said every boy got a hit except for one. Carter even got two triples. It was a sunny, beautiful day for baseball (see the squinty grins on Carter, Sam, and Grant's faces).

Our First Mariners Game
Well even though the Mariner's got absolutely no points at the game we went to we had loads of fun with the big kids any way. We danced crazily (hoping to get a video shot of us), did the wave, ate keetle/caramel corn, cheered and jeered, and just had a good time. I have to shout out a big thanks to our home teacher and his family for watching James for us while we went to the game. Jeremy wouldn't have been able to watch much of the game if we had brought James.

YW/YM Camp Dessert Auction
Let the Goodie Parade Begin!
We've been goodie-making for various activites as of late. We want our little Largey's to enjoy making things in the kitchen. The "Gator Cake" was for a cub scout Dad/Son cake contest (Carter won and got a box of checkers and Jerm showed him how to play). The "What a Hoot" cupcakes were made by Madison and a friend for YW/YM dessert auction for camp. I also made the "Pudding Palooza" for the camp fundraiser. Yum yum lotsa fun.
