Yum Yum Yum

We combined forces with the Christensen's for Thankgiving this year and enjoyed such a feast! Plus Jill made the tables beautiful because she enjoys bringing beauty into being. Thank you friends for helping to make the day fabulous! I wish I had some of those fabulous foods to eat right now, but then they might not be as special at Thanksgigving.

Goodbye Grandpa Don- We'll Miss You

We traveled to Utah for Grandpa Don's funeral. This is the first funeral I've been to and I have to say it was a beautiful experience. Hearing stories about Grandpa and how he lived his life was inspiring. He was truly a great man. We will miss seeing him so very much. We love you Grandpa Don.

Loves from Grandma Leann

No one can resist getting loved on by Grandma. Who would want to? James just enjoys playing hard to get!

Having a ball visiting with FAMILY

I know we've come to Utah to attend the funeral of Great Grandpa Don, but it has been such a wonderful thing to see so many family members. I know it would make Grandpa smile.

Whoooo Loves Fall?

The kids couldn't resist playing with these golden leaves in front of Aunt Amelia's house in Utah. Some of the leaves were bigger than James' face. Fall is my favorite season.

Cutest skeletons I've ever seen!

Here are the kids with a couple of their cutie-patootie cousins.

Boys will be boys... and girls

I can't seem to keep the big boys in shoes. They wear them out quicker than they even outgrow them. Carter was sad to get rid of his puppet shoe. He had named him "Bob" and was putting on shows at school with him. I told him that's just not right. Neither is Madison making James look like a sister, but she just keeps doing it.

Full Frame

I got to take some fun B&W photos for the young women in our ward at church this week for an upcoming YW in Excellence. Practice makes perfect...

Two is better than one...

Why did Mom and Dad buy me such a huge cake... James is wondering. Is it because I'm a big two-year old now? We wondered why we bought that cake too when we barely put a dent in it after Jamesy's birthday.
He ripped open his presents with gusto, but loved his balloons most of all. He's still trying to figure out the bike...

All Hallows Eve

Madison was the big hit this year with her Mad Hatter costume . It's a good thing too because it took her a long time to gather up the stuff and make the hat. The rest of us just bought stuff and wore it. But we wore it well! However, our attempts to make James have a mowhawk to accompany his rockin' attire fell flat. Someone told me later that using egg whites will help a mowhawk stay up. Who knew?

What are YOU?

Jeremy said my outfit was tacky, but the people who figured out that I was a "Coal Miner from Chile" had a good laugh about it (Jerm's just jealous because he wore nothing to the Fall Festival- well I mean no costume!). Madison is still trying to figure out what the heck she's dressed up as. She helped be a part of the Haunted Classroom and this is the outfit they gave her to wear. She couldn't wait to get out of it by the end of the night because it was stiffling.

Rock Star by day, Mama's boy at night

Here's the tatoo that couldn't be seen under Jamesy's rock star exterior! This costume didn't make quite as big of a hit as the Yoda one he wore the year before, but I still liked it. I considered myself to be one of his groupies since I ended up carrying his guitar all night at the Fall Festival so it's only fitting that he has my name tatooed on his arm!
